▶ 일상의 단순함과 형태의 단순함 이 모든것 | 단순함은 일상의 순간을 고조시킨다 | 시골주택 | 세컨하우스

 

숭고한 풍경을 제공하고 자연의 환경 속에서 지속적 교감을 가능하도록 하는 별장과 같은 세컨하우스이다. 주변의 광활한 자연 속에 건축의 존재를 드러내지 않고 단층으로 지어져 밝고 따뜻한 자연의 빛을 원활하게 내부 공간을 가득 채우는 세심한 배려가 돋보인다. 자연의 경험을 안에서 밖으로 확장하여 극대화하여 그림 같은 풍경을 창과 같은 열린 공간으로 프레이밍(framing)하여 집의 중심을 관통하는 공간을 만들었다. 중간의 열린(관통) 공간은 신선한 공기의 순환과 통과를 도우며 자연 속에서의 생활을 최대화하려고 한다.

 

자연속에 있으면 속도가 느려지고 물질성과 단순함도 거주자를 휴식과 재충전을 돕는다. 형태의 단순화는 집 안에서의 경험을 집중시키고 일상의 순간을 고조시킨다. 중심의 프레이밍(framing) 공간은 전망과 개구부를 통해 계절과 하루의 변화를 살아 있는 풍경처럼 제공하고 있다.

 

 Featuring extensive views of the national park, Casa Roca sits gently upon the earth as a single-level dwelling in an effort to blend in with the landscape. Either side of the form slides open to create an uninterrupted passageway through the home’s centre, allowing fresh air to flow swiftly throughout. The owners wanted to embrace the site and make the most of the opportunity to live amid such natural beauty. Not only does the family retreat feature welcoming gestures throughout, but PPAA elevates the design, dissolving indoor-outdoor thresholds, so the abode remains in constant dialogue with the natural surrounds. 

The residence has been positioned carefully to allow natural light to enter seamlessly and flood the interior spaces, creating a warm and passive dwelling. With secluded wings on either side, the home is imbued with a sense of balance. These private areas of retreat offer opportunities for sanctuary within, while the central space is reserved for gathering and socialising, bringing the family together.
